He he, that must have been quite an experience. Has it happened more than once? We get loads of cyclists on the roads here, but now you mention it I never do see anyone jog.

Hi Phil of My life in La Alpujarra
I have been following your blog on and off for the last year and just got back to Malaga area a few weeks ago after spending some time in Las ALpujarras. I love following your progress through your photos, so more before and after pictures please!
I have discovered that Magdalenas in Cadiar seems to have the best mature cheddar I have tasted in Spain, if you are not aware of it I would strongly recommend trying it out. I personally bought a kilo!! to take back with me to Malaga.
That sounds so nice that German Christmas market in Europe Trotters blog. Just like in the films. I can really just imagine it, how you shuffle around from little shop to little shop with wonderful smells coming from everywhere, looking at home made Christmas presents.
Everyone should have the opportunity to go away for a weekend in December to experience this sort of thing. Maybe people would be more happy around Christmas then and not so stressed?
On reading this post, I would never have thought of being careful with my mobile that way. But hey, I often actually get surprised that nobody has nicked my wallet yet. I always forget to close my handbag, so I just lies there ready to be taken. Maybe I’ve got some good karma coming my way since I’ve been so lucky so far.
After reading this I must say I agree. We just got a Christmas card from our bank. And from a credit card company. And I expect a few more to be in the post from various companies like our internet service provider, Movistar - our mobile phone provider etc. etc.
I would rather they spend the money on something worthwhile rather than receiving a card. We all know our bank doesn’t really care anyway, they just want our money.
On reading about this clever digital frame I just can’t get over how clever that is! Especially the part about it having it’s own email address. Can you imagine waking up in the morning only to see loads of pics from a friends birthday or similar now appearing on your wall. I want one!
On reading this post musing over the stupid health and safety regulations in the UK and how you could go over the top, it makes me laugh living here in Spain.
If you could sue and actually get quite a bit of money out of it here in Spain, they would be bancrupt.
I have never (ok, that’s a lie, it was probably worse in Africa, Egypt and Vietnam,ha ha a bit of travel name dropping) seen so many potholes, stupid constructions etc. anywhere else in the world and I would certainly not want to be in a wheelchair in Spain.
You would, to put it bluntly, be fucked. Without additional help I doubt you would be able to leave your house on your own.
Commenting on Hannahs post about people who never drink.
It does make you wonder if people claim they never drink alcohol. And especially here in Spain!
How they ever manage to resist that lovely Rioja is completely beyond me. But I guess it is like religion, as long as they respect that YOU might have another opinion, then it is al right.
Saw this post, and thought I could add another one to your list, Crazy Brit.
How about Welsh people???
Snicker…
Reading a post about fictional depressing booktitles, on Not Just a Pretty Mum whcih was really funny and I think I can think a few to add as well. How about:
Vomit. The detailed guide to everything you had to eat last night.
2 steps forward and 1 step back: How to create your own minefield
Send me some if you can think of some more!
